Linda grew up in a suburb outside of Cleveland, Ohio and has been living in the Northmont area for over 30 years. She is a former secondary mathematics teacher with a degree from the University of Cincinnati. Married to Ric Blum, a businessman, they have four children: all graduates of Northmont High School. She has one grandson, who has not started school yet and two step-grandsons, who are currently Northmont students. Linda is presently in her 19th year on the Board of Education, and serves as board president.
