Northwood Elementary is a kindergarten through sixth grade building celebrating its 40th year in 2009-2010. A variety of programs are offered for students who have various academic and social needs. Culture Club, Sprouts, and Young Astronauts are clubs offered for interested students. There is a very active PTO that provides volunteer and financial support throughout the year. The PTO is responsible for the new playground equipment installed in the past five years.
