HIGHLIGHTS

Each year the SOITA conference provides insight into new and effective ways to use technology in the classroom. This year teachers who attended the conference were asked to participate in a “blog” so that conference highlights could be shared with the entire district. cleaning up digital dirt (myspace)

fair and appropriate use

WEB 2.0

Web 2.0 is a second generation of the web. This is were the web has evolved over time and now offers better and more up to date services like blogs, wiki’s, social networking sites etc. Essentially, where you  used to be able to view information, now you can also add to the information and participate in its creation.

A blog is a website where individual  can post information. It is a website of individual postings listed in reverse chronological order.  You can find a blog on any interest you might have.  BLOG is short for web log.   What to find a blog? click here
