Englewood
Elementary is a K - 6 building in what has been referred to as "old
Englewood". We house a population of approximately 350 students
within those grade levels.
The staff at Englewood Elementary is not only dedicated
to the education of our students, they are also innovative, caring and nurturing.
We are proud of our students' excellent reputation of being prepared for further
education as they leave our building.
One primary goal of Englewood Elementary is to
create and maintain a motivated, respectful, and positive learning environment.
Integrated within the curriculum are theme words which include: respect, acceptance,
pride, appreciation, exploration, and creativity. These words were selected as
words to encourage and enhance the development of the total student.
The working relationship between parents, staff
and students creates a strong sense of community at Englewood Elementary.
