In addition to supporting the pursuit of higher education, the NEF also provides grants to enhance the educational opportunities for the students in the Northmont community.
The NEF awarded 28 grants totaling $27,530 to provide various programs and opportunities for students across the district.
Several grants are directed to providing enhanced reading opportunities for our students, both advanced students as well as those students who may have challenges reading. These reading programs all place a high importance on improved reading comprehension and increasing student interest in reading.
Grants are also used to help purchase new equipment for technology needs in the classroom.
