Mr. Dakin's Ceramics Classes (cont'd)
STUDENTS WILL LEARN THEN WILL LEARN THE FOLLOWING THEIR SECOND QUARTER OF THIS CLASS:
Coil bowl with surface design 6 inches: 2 different shaped bowl choosing from the following shapes: round, oval, square, triandgle, free form
Slab box with surface design, lid and handles 6 inches: Rectangles, triangle, round, free form
Wheel applications: 2-4 inch bowls, alike in shape and form, and a 1-6 inch vessel
Trimming applications: Centering, Attaching, and Trimming
There will be 15 days spent on the wheel, and clean up will also be a factor in the student's grade.
There will be a wheel application test at the end of the quarter
