Resources for You

We've searched high and low and are pleased to offer links to the finest college financial aid resources on the web. You'll find plenty of basic information, descriptions of the various aid programs, a way to set up a college savings plan, and several scholarship search sites.

The Financial Aid Home Page. An outstanding overview of financial aid. Has links to an abundance of financial aid information sources, scholarship search page, expected family contribution calculator, loan sources. In short, this page has it all!

Student Aid on the Web. A federal government site outlining an easy-to-follow step-by-step process for learning about and applying for financial aid.

The Student Guide. The U.S. Department of Education's financial aid guide with details on the various federal grant, loan and work programs.

Ohio Board of Regents College Access. Provides students and parents information on access to Ohio colleges and a slide show on financial aid.

Peterson's Financial Aid Glossary. Not sure what a Perkins loan is? Look it up here.

FAFSA on the Web.  Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid on the web.  Saves time and improves accuracy!

PIN Registration. Get a PIN to use when you file your FAFSA online.

PROFILE. Register for the College Scholarship Service's PROFILE, a supplemental financial aid application required by some colleges.

Calculators for Savings and Debt. College savings plan designer, savings growth projector, affordable debt calculator, expected family contribution calculator.

Title IV Codes. College code numbers for use when filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Fastweb Scholarship Search. A free, comprehensive financial aid and scholarship search site.

Fastaid.com. Large, free scholarship search site.

Dayton/Montgomery County Scholarship Program. An outstanding local source of scholarships.

Mach25. A very large database of scholarship opportunities.

College Answer. This site features a scholarship search, a calculator for expected family contribution, and good basic information on grants, loans, and the college work/study program.

Scholarships.com. National scholarship search and financial aid program information.

Ohio Mentor. Good explanation of the types of aid and how to apply. Also a scholarship search and financial aid calculator.

CollegeAdvantage Savings Plan. Ohio's 529 college savings plan. Enjoy tax advantages while saving for college.

gov benefitsGovBenefits.gov. This U.S. Government Web site provides access and information to more than 1,000 benefit and assistance programs, including education related programs.

gov benefitsMeritAid.com This site provides a comprehensive directory of merit scholarships from colleges.
