In addition, you will be expected to keep a journal. This journal will be a place for you to express yourself creatively and formally. Some assignments will be chosen by me; some will be selected by you or your classmates. Journal entries will vary in length and subject matter. Each morning we will begin class by writing in this journal. Periodically, I will ask for your journals to grade. I may grade a single selection or multiple entries. It is important that your journals are complete and up-to-date.
Make-up Work Policy:
I follow the Northmont policy on excused absences. If you have an excused absence, you will have one day plus one to make up the work. You may not make up work for unexcused absences.
Note:I do not accept late homework. A late paper or project will be given one letter grade lower for each day it is turned in.
