If you need to register a student, please stop by the front office and pick up a registration packet. When all paperwork is complete, call the appropriate guidance counselor to schedule an appointment time. Incoming students are required to take a math placement test which takes about 1-1/2 hours.

| Directions to Northmont Middle School |
Northmont Middle School is located at 4810 National
Road (Rt. 40) about 3 miles west of Englewood. From I-75, go west
on I-70 to the Hoke Road exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right.
Hoke road dead ends into National Roadthe YMCA will be on your
right. Turn left, the school is located about 1 mile on the left side
of the road right before the high school. If traveling from St. Rt.
48, turn west on Rt. 40 for about 3 miles.

| General Team Information |
Each seventh and eighth grader is assigned a team.
All teams, named after noted historic figures, consist of a social
studies, math, science and two language arts teachers. Parents and
students are all invited to attend the Middle School's "Meet the Team
Night", held each year, the day before the new school year begins.
This special program, followed up with a cook out on school grounds,
gives students and their parents an opportunity to meet their team
of teachers and learn about highlights for the upcoming school year.

| Hands of Honor |
| A "Hands of Honor Wall" gives recognition for all students, who
earn a perfect 4.0 grade point average at the end the grading period
, to have their hand print placed on this special wall, located near
the cafeteria, in the T-Bolt Cafe. Our teams also have special reconition
parties to recognize students for citizenship and academic progress. |
