My name is Rachael Phillips and I am the principal of Northmoor!  I have been in education since 1993 and I am excited each and every day I get to work with children!  I am married and have three children.  My husband’s name is Marvin.  I have a son named Zachary and two daughters named Zoe and Zaya. 

I began my career in education as a music teacher.  I have coached volleyball and have been the drama/music director/choreographer for many plays and musicals.  I still perform singing whenever I get a chance.  Singing is my favorite hobby!  After my time as a music teacher I spent 10 years as a school counselor.  I spend most of my time outside of school running my children to various sports games and practices.  When I have a few moments to myself I love to curl up with a good book or just sit on the couch listening to musicals!  I am very blessed to be member of the Northmoor Family!  I hope you enjoy the rest of your virtual tour around Northmoor.  Please feel free to stop by the school office to take a real tour sometime.
