Hello! My name is Bruce Swank and I have been teaching vocal elementary music at Northmont City Schools since 1981. I graduated from The Ohio State University with my BME degree and from Indiana University with my MME degree. I enjoy the challange of building musical skills in students and getting them to sing as well as they can. Singing is a skill they can enjoy throughout their life if they start and learn how to early enough. At Northmoor I help out with the 5th & 6th grade classes, with my main school being O.R. Edgington Elementary. I direct the Northmont District Elementary Choir and also direct on choir of the Kettering Children's Choirs.

My wife also teaches elementary vocal music in the district with her home school being Union Elementary. We have two daughters and live in Troy, Ohio.
