Peer Facilitation

WHO:  Any NHS student entering the 10th, 11th or 12th grades.  All must apply and interview for consideration to be a part of the class for the following year.


WHAT:  A class that teaches students to help others by listening, supporting and being good role models.  We perform community service, educate younger students in the district on the dangers of tobacco & coping with bullying.  We mentor and tutor elementary students on an as needed basis.


WHEN:  The class meets during 5th period through the entire school year.  Students earn one social studies credit toward graduation requirements.  Applications are available in the Counseling Center in Feb/March for the following year.
