On February 9, 2021, Governor DeWine asked schools and districts to work with their communities and educational stakeholders to help students continue to advance academically and to make up for any learning that may have been lost or delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and related disruptions. The governor asked schools and districts to provide their plans to the public and General Assembly no later than April 1.
Below is a link to the entire plan and a link to an infographic that provides highlights of the plan. This is a districtwide plan. Each building has also been working with staff to create plans that are aligned with the district plan to address the needs specific to the students in their building.
This district plan is broken down into three areas of student needs- Academic, Social-Emotional, and Behavior, and shows how Northmont will determine the needs and address the needs in those three areas. There is also a section for professional development needs based on the plan.
