What do I do if my iPad is locked or disabled?

  • Please email ipadinfo@northmontschools.net to arrange a time to drop off your iPad. We will need to wipe your device and set it back up again. We will contact you when the device is ready to be picked up.

What do I do if my iPad will not charge?

  • If you are a 6-12 grader you need to check:

    • Settings>Touch ID and Passcode>(you will need the passcode for the device)>USB Accessories - this needs to be turned on.

  • If this doesn’t work try a hard reboot (Hold the Home Button and Power Button at the same time until the Apple icon appears)

  • If you have another charger, please try that.

  • Grades 2-5 - try a hard reboot.  (Hold the Home Button and Power Button at the same time until the Apple icon appears)

If these options don’t work, please email ipadinfo@northmontschools.net

What should I do if I can’t connect to our home wifi?

  • Turn your wifi setting off - wait 10 seconds and turn it back on.

  • Forget your wifi

    • In your wifi settings go to the information icon on the right side and “Forget This Network” - Please rejoin your home network.

If these options don’t work, please email ipadinfo@northmontschools.net

What do I do if my screen is cracked or broken?

  • If the device does not function properly you will need to email ipadinfo@northmontschools.net to arrange a time to drop off the damaged iPad and pick up a loaner.

  • If the screen is cracked and there is a concern with using the iPad safely, please email ipadinfo@northmontschools.net to arrange a time to drop off the damaged iPad and pick up a loaner.

If you are experiencing slower response times while using your iPad at home, please keep in mind your home wifi may not be as fast as school wifi. Please make sure you do not have too many apps running at one time. This will cause your iPad to have a slower response time.
