Northmont City Schools will hold three College Credit Plus Informational meetings for your convenience:
All meetings will take place in the Northmont Community Auditorium.
College Credit Plus is a program open to 7-12 grade students enabling students to earn college credit and high school credit simultaneously. These meetings discuss CCP opportunities for the 2018-19 school year while reviewing advantages and disadvantages of the program.
Attendance by both students and parents at one of these meetings is mandatory if interested in the program next shool year.
The law also requires that the school be given written notification of a student's intent to participate by April 1. Intent to Participate forms can be found in the Northmont Middle School Counseling Center or the Northmont High School Counseling Center on and after January 30.
It is strongly encouraged that students and parents attend the January 30 meeting as this will allow them to complete the other steps of the application process early.
Current College Credit Plus students/parents during the 2017-18 school year are not required to attend, but still MUST submit the Intent to Participate form by April 1.
