I have been teaching in the Northmont City School district since 1990. I began by teaching 5th grade for one year. After that first year, I have mainly taught 6th grade Science, which is and always will be a passion of mine.
My first degree was a BA from Otterbein College (now University). I graduated with a degree in Life Science/Interpretive Naturalist with a minor in Earth Science. My teaching certificate/license was earned in 1990 from Wright State University. I obtained my Masters of Art in Teaching (MAT) from Marygrove College.
In my free time, I like to travel, read, photograph nature, garden, hike, play computer games, sing in my church choir, use social media to keep in contact with family/friends and keep up-to-date with current events/Science. I am also an Ohio State Football fan.
